The Aspire Project Foundation
The Aspire Project was created to offer something different — real-world experiences that support personal growth, skill development, and meaningful community connection. We believe people thrive when they are given choice, dignity, and opportunities that feel authentic, not institutional. Our work is rooted in Self-Direction principles, ensuring every participant can shape their own path based on interests, goals, and personal vision.
To create inclusive, community-based experiences that empower individuals to connect, grow, and build real-life skills through choice, creativity, and self-direction.
A world where everyone belongs, is valued for who they are, and is supported in becoming confident, independent, and fully engaged in their community.
The Aspire Project is a community-based initiative open to everyone, including individuals with and without disabilities.
We provide inclusive opportunities for connection, creative expression, skill development, and entrepreneurship through publicly accessible spaces and immersive real-world experiences.
Serving up to 30 participants daily, our environments include coffee shops, markets, kitchens, farms, retreat spaces, and event venues — all intentionally designed to foster authentic community inclusion, social engagement, and practical skill-building.
We deliver participant-driven, community-integrated services that encourage authentic inclusion by offering engaging programming designed around individual Life Plans.
The Aspire Project is a community-based initiative open to everyone, offering a space where participants can explore interests, develop skills, and forge genuine connections. Serving up to 30 participants daily, our publicly accessible venues and natural environments foster skill development, wellness, and social engagement.
Our philosophy is simple:
The Aspire Project operates in alignment with New York State Self-Direction principles, emphasizing participant autonomy, individual control, and fee-for-service transparency.
We do not offer one-size-fits-all programs or bundled services. Instead, participants work alongside their support teams to select from an a la carte menu of classes, workshops, and community experiences, creating a schedule that directly supports their personal goals and Life Plan outcomes.
Our team collaborates closely with Support Brokers, Fiscal Intermediaries, and care teams to ensure services are delivered clearly, compliantly, and respectfully.

Our Team
Our work is guided by an experienced, multidisciplinary team of mentors, facilitators, and program leaders committed to meaningful, person-centered support.
Team members bring expertise in community engagement, creative arts, wellness, hospitality, entrepreneurship, and self-direction. All staff are trained to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and respectful support, fostering environments where participants feel valued, capable, and empowered.
The Aspire Project is more than a place to attend classes — it’s a community built on choice, creativity, and connection.
